Charlton Athletic have had a poor start to the season by their own admission.
Manager Russell Slade was sacked after just 16 games; there has been some lacklustre performances on the pitch; there have been protests off the pitch and the managerless club sit in 14th place with only 5 wins in 17 games.
There will be no doubt that Charlton wish to turn things around this season and make a late surge for the promotion spots and this is not out of the equation yet.
