Charlton Athletic will likely have a busy summer transfer window this year as Nigel Adkins and Thomas Sandgaard look to make their respective marks.

Adkins, of course, is embarking on his first summer window in charge of the Addicks whilst Sandgaard is also going to get to see what a summer transfer window is really about, with this his first full one at the helm and the club on a much steadier footing than last October.

They'll be looking for new players, then, but perhaps one of the targets from the old regime would be worth a look this summer, too.

Football League World brought you news exclusively a few weeks back that Lee Bowyer, now at Birmingham, was aiming to sign Jordan Graham from Gillingham this summer, with him a fan of the winger from back when he was Charlton manager.

Bowyer, though, wouldn't have been the only one impressed at Charlton with Graham, with a lot of the recruitment team remaining at the club and looking forward to using Sandgaard's finances to really help fund signings.

Graham, too, is a player that is now available on a free and so only his wages would need to be sorted, with Charlton surely now able to afford exactly that.

He had a great season out wide for the Gills, scoring 12 goals and assisting six in the league with him regularly employed down the right under Steve Evans.

And, with Ian Maatsen's loan at an end and Diallang Jaiyesimi perhaps still needing to prove a point, there appears an opening for Graham at The Valley.

Adkins will have his own targets this summer, of course, but taking a look at those the club has already done the groundwork on for this window might not be such a bad idea either.
