Charlton manager B0b Peeters is still hopeful of sealing a deal for 22-year-old Tours striker Andy Delort, reports Sports Mole.
Delort has been a target for Charlton and Leeds United the majority of the summer however a move has never materialised, but the Charlton boss is not letting up in the chase for the Frensh star.
“It’s good that he wants to play for Charlton,” Peeters told reporters. “I love players who want to come and play for us.
“Andy Delort is an interesting player, but at this moment he is still playing for Tours.
“I think something between the two clubs [is being discussed]. I hear a lot of rumours, but then again everyday another team comes in to sign him.”
