Jonathan Leko has been on a run of mixed form this term since arriving at the Valley on loan from West Brom over the summer, with the 20-year-old having hit five goals in 19 games for Charlton so far.

The youngster has proven to be a shrewd addition for Lee Bowyer, often operating as more of a support striker than an out and out centre forward, thus complementing the skill set of strike partner Macauley Bonne well.

One worry for Leko will surely be the re-emerging presence of Charlton talisman Lyle Taylor, with the 29-year-old hotshot having made his long awaited return from a long term knee injury against Middlesbrough last weekend.

Taylor of course was in fine form during the opening weeks of the campaign, netting five goals in his first six Championship games, underlining his importance to Bowyer's side.

Leko will be wary of the fact that Taylor is viewed as a key player by his manager and will be worried about losing his place in the starting eleven once his teammate gets back to full match fitness.

The West Brom loanee will be keen to find his shooting boots again, as this will give him the best chance of holding onto his starting spots, with the Addicks in dire need of a win following a run of nine games without picking up a victory.

The striker will however be able to point to the fact that he also has three assists to his name, which could perhaps convince the Charlton boss that he would be a better option than Bonne to start alongside Taylor, with the duo having played well together during the opening stages of the season.

Meanwhile, Charlton will be looking to get back to winning ways this Friday as they take to home turf once more against Grant McCann's Hull City.
