Nigel Adkins has become rather well-known for his positive management style in recent years and he has certainly brought that to Charlton with the Addicks challenging for a play-off spot under his management.

Adkins was perhaps a little bit of a surprising choice but he has quickly got results with the Addicks, with them winning 6-0 last time out at Plymouth.

Indeed, his positivity is rather infectious and his regular message on social media with him walking around the Charlton training ground have won plenty of plaudits, too, as he helps kick people's day off with an upbeat message.

On Friday, he also took the opportunity to mention promotions and relegations being at stake this weekend and how fundamental that is to our game, in a clear nod to the Super League fiasco from earlier this week:

The Verdict

Another great message from Adkins who has clearly got the backing of plenty of Charlton fans and not only because of his positive messages on Twitter.

He's quickly got results with the Addicks and a top-six finish is well within the realms of possibility for them now, as they look to return to the Sky Bet Championship at the first time of asking.

Indeed, that would be something to really smile about.
