It's been a difficult few months for Charlton Athletic, who have slipped down the table having won only twice in League One since November. 

Lee Bowyer has already added two new attackers in the January window but he will likely be hoping for a few more signings as he looks to kick-start his side's season.

Charlton have two bids rejected for £1m-rated Celtic target

Bowyer told London News Online after last night's defeat that the Addicks have had two bids rejected for Exeter City's Joel Randall, who is also a reported target of Celtic and Swansea City.

Additionally, he noted that the Grecians wanted around £1 million for the 21-year-old which may rule Charlton out of a move.

George Lapslie completes move to Mansfield Town

The south London club announced earlier this week that the 23-year-old midfielder had completed his permanent move to Mansfield.

Lapslie has been impressive while on loan with the Stags in the first half of the season and has now joined them for an undisclosed fee.

He told the club website he remains an Addicks fan "at heart" and will "be forever grateful to everyone at the club’s academy".

Josh Davison joins Forest Green Rovers on loan

Charlton have also confirmed that Davison has joined Forest Green until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan with non-league Woking but now makes the step up to League Two.

Director of football Steve Gallen labelled the move "an excellent opportunity" for Davison.

Charlton in race for in-demand ex-Everton man 

According to Football Insider, the Addicks are battling a number of other EFL clubs for Paderborn attacker Antony Evans.

The report claims that the 22-year-old is also drawing the attention of Rotherham, Wycombe Wanderers, Wigan Athletic, Lincoln City and Shrewsbury.

Evans came through the Everton academy but has found himself out of favour at the Bundesliga 2 club this term.
