Therry Racon's career peaked with Charlton Athletic with the Guadeloupe international struggling to replicate his performances in SE7 elsewhere following his departure in the summer of 2011.

Racon is still playing at a low level in France with FC Saint-Leu but also operating as a football agent according to his LinkedIn profile.

Now 37, the cultured midfielder would look back on his 115 appearances for the Addicks with fond memories with his spell in England falling apart almost immediately after leaving. He left the club for Millwall but only made two appearances in two years at The Den before being released.

Racon had left the Lions on loan for Portsmouth previously and Pompey picked him up as a free agent in October 2013 where he remained for the rest of that campaign. The Marseille youth product made a total of 32 appearances at Fratton Park combining the two spells before returning to his native France in the summer of 2014.

Time with Sedan, Drouais, Racing Club de France followed before he signed for Saint-Leu in 2019.

Racon performed admirably in his time at The Valley, initially struggling physically to deal with the demands of the English game, such absences then cropped up again after joining Millwall. It was a difficult time to play for the Addicks with limited financial resources at the club as they hurtled from the Premier League to League One in the space of two seasons.

Despite leaving for local rivals Millwall, Racon remains well thought of by the supporters on the whole.
