Charlton Athletic are aiming to keep young full-back Morgan Fox by trying to tie him down to a new deal, reports South London Press.
A number of Premier League clubs are monitoring the youngster as he continues his Charlton career, most notably Swansea, West Ham United, Leicester City and Southampton.
Swansea City failed with a late bid in the summer transfer window to sign to 21 year old defender, but they remain interested in acquiring his services.
Fox currently has two-years left on his current contract that was signed before his breakthrough into the London sides first team last season. However, with Premier League interest a problem for Charlton, it appears that a new deal must be signed if the player is to stay with the club.
After being called up the full Wales squad, the youngster is now an in-demand player and with that, comes new contract demands in the current world of football.
However, Charlton are hoping to work out a new deal with the youngster so they can push for the upper reaches of the table this season. Guy Luzon and his side have had a solid start to the season and if they can keep hold of their star youngster, a feel good factor will continue at the Valley.
Whether or not Morgan Fox is keen on a move to a Premier League side remains to be seen, but it is likely that first team football will be easier to come by at the Valley under Guy Luzon.
