West Bromwich Albion striker Charlie Austin hosted a Q&A on Twitter last night.

The 30-year-old answered some of fans' burning questions last night - everything from transfers, favourite moments and what the future holds.

One fan asked 'is there one player in the championship that you dread coming up against, and why?' To which Austin responded:

He and West Brom currently sit in 2nd-place of the Championship. They'd occupied the top-spot for nearly the entirety of the season up until the final few games before the postponement.

They and Leeds have been the runaway contenders throughout and it looks as though it'll remain that way as and when the season resumes - the Baggies have a six point gap over Fulham in 3rd.

Austin has eight Championship goals to his name this season. He's played more of a backup role under Slaven Bilic this season, but an important role nonetheless.

Bilic though has amalgamated a fine team at The Hawthorns - they have a few standout players but their real draw is that they're a great team.

The way they play and break down teams is to be admired, and they'd be deserved of the Championship crown should they eventually wear it.

The verdict

Austin has long been a favourite of fans. Whether it's his goals, post-match rants or celebrations, he's won over fans wherever he's played.

His game-time at the club though could be shot if West Brom step up into the Premier League - he's a good player but at 30-years-old, he may be best suited to the Championship from now on.
