Lucas Joao continued his excellent goalscoring streak - with his second-half equaliser enough for Reading to end their run of Championship defeats following a 1-1 draw with Millwall at The Den last night.

Less than a month ago, the Royals found themselves seven points clear at the top of the second-tier standings, but losses to Coventry, Stoke, Preston and Bournemouth has seen the Berkshire outfit slip down to 6th.

However, Veljko Paunovic's side showed signs of the Reading from the early weeks of the season at The Den, despite falling behind to Jed Wallace's stunning free-kick in first-half stoppage-time.

Quiz: Did these 17 Reading players ever actually score a league goal for the club?

But the half-time introduction of Michael Olise saw the Royals get back into the game almost immediately - with the 18-year-old at the heart of the Joao's 53rd-minute leveller.

Olise played a perfectly-weighted clipped pass into the path of the Reading striker, who drilled home his eighth Championship of the season from a tight angle.

It wasn't just Olise's goal, however, the teenager created three chances in his 45-minute cameo (according to FotMob) - and we've been looking at how the Madejski faithful have been reacting to his performance on Twitter.

And it's far to say that many want him starting against Bristol City on Saturday - as you can see by some of the best replies below:
