Ipswich Town
‘Change needed’, ‘Clueless’ – Many Ipswich fans call for departure of key figure following Charlton loss

Ipswich Town may sit inside the play off spots of League One for now, but the fans are certainly not impressed by their recent performances.
The Tractor Boys got off to a blistering start to the season in the league after going six games unbeaten, but fans generally thought the performances were nothing special whatsoever.
And the wheels started to come off in dramatic fashion, with a 4-1 loss to Doncaster being the start of a mixed run of form.
They got out of jail with a late win against Shrewsbury last weekend, and then a 3-0 thumping at home to Hull City angered fans.
And todays 2-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic is seemingly the tip of the iceberg for a section of supporters, who are calling for manager Paul Lambert to depart the club.
The fans have never really seemed to fully warm to Lambert since his arrival in 2018, and after goals from Albie Morgan and Omar Bogle condemned Ipswich to a second straight home defeat, the Twitter reaction to Lambert was fairly brutal.
Check out some of the responses below to see the general mood of the Ipswich fans.

Lambert in post game interview:
“We started well”.
“Thought we dominated the game”.
“We were unlucky”
“We just weren’t clinical enough”
“the amount of injuries we have are ridiculous”
“The kids need to take more responsibility”The bloke needs to go. Now. #itfc

We're not good enough, the manager is completely clueless and the 5 year deal he was given last year is gonna get us to league 2. Depressing stuff #itfc https://t.co/61N0lwS8PO

Ok , enough is enough . Sorry Lambert but it’s time to go. Clueless team selection and no motivation https://t.co/3DEgP082VK

You can forget me paying any more to watch this until Lambert goes.
This is diabolical. The manager is clueless. The owner doesn't care. And the club is rotten to the core. Needs completely gutting and fresh ideas.

Change needed. Injuries are not an excuse with the squad size, the finances and the infrastructure we have at this level. #LambertOut #ITFC
