Despite picking up three-points following a 3-2 victory over Bolton Wanderers yesterday, Leeds United’s supporters will have left the Macron Stadium with mixed feelings, as they lost two defenders to injury.

Thomas Christiansen is already short of options in defence, and Matthew Pennington and Gaetano Berardi both picked up injuries, adding to Leeds’ troubles.

Berardi’s injury is a huge concern for Christiansen, with the Swiss defender providing cover at left-back.

However, the Whites have now moved to strengthen that position, announcing the arrival of Cameron Borthwick-Jackson on a season-long loan from Manchester United.

The 20-year-old arrives at Elland Road with an excellent reputation, having made 14 senior appearances for Manchester United already.

Borthwick-Jackson has also picked up some experience in the Sky Bet Championship whilst on-loan with Wolverhampton Wanderers, making seven appearances in a difficult spell.

Following Borthwick-Jackson’s arrival, here is how Leeds’ supporters reacted…
