Celtic midfielder Scott Allan is attracting attention from a host of Championship clubs including Nottingham Forest, Derby County and Queens Park Rangers, according to talkSPORT,
Scott Allan initially began his footballing career south of the border at West Bromwich Albion, spending time out on loan at Birmingham and Portsmouth however his career kickstarted when he moved up to Scotland.
The young midfielder impressed tremendously for Hibernian last season where he was an integral component of Hibs’ success as they finished second in the Scottish Championship, and his performances earned him a move to the Scottish champions.
However since arriving at Celtic, his career has stagnated with Delia reluctant to take the risk of playing the talented young midfielder, and Allan may feel another move will be the best decision for the sake of his career.
With Forest, Derby and QPR all interested, he may be lured by the prospect of eventually playing in the Premier League.
Also with a cap for Scotland’s Under 21 side, Allan may feel a move to the Championship playing regular first team football could bolster his hopes of playing for Scotland in the future.
Derby, Forest and QPR fans….. What do you think of the news? Would you like to see Allan at your club? Would he improve your side? Let us know your thoughts and opinions below!
