Championship trio chasing deal for Premier League attacker

According to Sky Sports journalist Adam Leventhal, three Championship clubs are interested in Watford striker Jerome Sinclair.

The ex-Liverpool striker only joined Premier League Watford this summer but has not made an appearance and may not even feature in the match-day squad given how strong Watford are up front.

Strikers Troy Deeney and Odion Ighalo will be miles ahead of the 19-year-old in the pecking order, whilst the signing of Anderlecht striker Stefano Okaka has also damaged Sinclair’s prospects.

Sinclair is a former England U19 and was in lethal form for the Liverpool youth side scoring 19 goals in the 14/15 season, the following season he made his first Liverpool start against Exeter in the FA Cup and scored his first senior goal.

However he left for Watford at the end of the year citing a lack of opportunity. Bristol City are a team keen on bolstering the strikers department after star man Jonathan Kodjia left in a big money deal to Aston Villa, whilst Norwich are trying to add too as they only have Cameron Jerome and Nelson Oliveira.
