There are exactly three weeks to go until Luton Town and Middlesbrough kick off the brand new Sky Bet Championship campaign.

With the end of the summer transfer window drawing ever closer by the day, managers are moving frantically to reshape their squads, getting rid of the deadwood and bringing in fresh faces.

Today’s round-up begins at Craven Cottage, where Fulham are beginning to make moves in the transfer market…

Ivan Cavaleiro

Fulham look set to win the race for Wolves winger Ivan Cavaleiro, with the Portuguese attacker set to arrive at Craven Cottage on a season-long loan deal.

The Telegraph writer John Percy claims that the Cottagers are set to win the race for the 25-year-old, and the London club will also have an option to buy next summer too.

Cavaleiro scored nine goals and produced 12 assists, as Wolves won promotion to the Premier League in the 2017/18 campaign.

Anthony Knockaert

Fulham are also believed to be keen on signing Brighton winger Anthony Knockaert, according to reports from The Sun.

The Frenchman was named the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Year in 2017, after helping the Seagulls win automatic promotion to the Premier League along with Newcastle United.

It is claimed that Fulham have made contact with Albion, with a £15million move potentially on the horizon.

Neal Maupay

West Bromwich Albion have joined the race to sign Brentford star Neal Maupay, as reported by the Express and Star.

The French forward netted 28 times for the Bees last season, and has since been attracting interest from the likes of Sheffield United and Aston Villa.

With Jay Rodriguez recently departing for Burnley and Dwight Gayle returning to parent club Newcastle United, a prolific forward is on Slaven Bilic’s radar at the Hawthorns.

Kalvin Phillips

Having already signed one of Leeds’ homegrown stars in Jack Clarke this summer, Spurs are now believed to have entered the race to sign midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

That’s according to the Daily Mirror’s David Anderson, who also claims that the Yorkshire club will not look to sell their star-man for less than £30million this summer.

Phillips still has two years left on his contract at Elland Road, but talks over a new contract have failed to progress thus far.

Karim Ansarifard

Qatari side Al-Sailiya have signed Nottingham Forest striker Karim Ansarifard on a permanent transfer, the East Midlands side have confirmed.

The Iran international signed for Forest from Olympiacos last summer, scoring two goals in 12 league appearances for the Reds last season.

But after a short spell at the City Ground, the 29-year-old has now departed for the Middle East.

Callum Robinson

Sheffield United have a new club-record signing in the form of Preston North End forward Callum Robinson.

The 24-year-old scored 13 goals for Alex Neil’s side in all competitions last season, despite spending a lengthy spell on the sidelines with injury.

The Republic of Ireland international forward arrives at Bramall Lane on a four-year deal, and becomes the Blades’ third summer signing.
