With only three days to go until the start of the 2019/20 EFL campaign, the transfer market is heating up.

With all the focus on the start of the new season, there are only nine days left for clubs to sign players before the transfer deadline.

Today, we start our round-up at Nottingham Forest, who have completed their seventh signing of the summer.

Rafa Mir

Nottingham Forest have completed the season-long loan signing of Wolves forward Rafa Mir.

The Spanish forward signed for Wolves from Valencia in 2018, but has since made just four first-team appearances for Nuno Santo's side, failing to find the back of the net.

The 22-year-old spent last season on loan with Spanish side Las Palmas, scoring seven goals in 30 appearances.

Matt Phillips

Aston Villa have made an approach to sign West Brom winger Matt Phillips, as per reports from Football Insider.

The Scotland international is now entering the final year of his contract at The Hawthorns, and is now reportedly wanted by newly-promoted Premier League side Villa.

The winger scored five goals and produced six assists for the Baggies last term, despite enduring tough spells on the sidelines with injury.

Birmingham Live have since revealed that the club are yet to receive an approach from Villa for Phillips, but it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

Alan Judge

QPR have had a third bid rejected for Ipswich Town playmaker Alan Judge, via Football Insider.

The Irishman, who signed a new two-year deal at Portman Road only three months ago, has told Paul Lambert that he wants to leave the club this summer, but the Tractor Boys are standing firm.

Football Insider claim that they have rejected a £600,000 bid from QPR for his services, and it is understood that that will mark the end of the R's' pursuit.

Greg Cunningham

Football Insider also claim that a host of Championship sides are interested in signing Cardiff City defender Greg Cunningham.

The 28-year-old signed for the Bluebirds from Preston last summer, but made just eight appearances in all competitions last season after falling behind Joe Bennett in the pecking order.

It is claimed that Neil Warnock would be open to letting Cunningham go this summer, as the Bluebirds prepare to travel to Wigan Athletic this Saturday.

Gavin Whyte

Sticking with Cardiff, and the Bluebirds have completed the signing of Oxford United winger Gavin Whyte for an undisclosed fee.

The Northern Ireland international scored nine goals and produced a handful of assists for Karl Robinson's side last season, and was a reported transfer target for Nottingham Forest earlier on this summer.

Adam Webster

Finally, Sky Sports understand that Brighton and Hove Albion have submitted a £20m bid plus add-ons for Bristol City defender Adam Webster,

The 24-year-old was a regular for the Robins last season, putting in a string of eye-catching displays next to Tomas Kalas in defence.

The former Portsmouth man still has three years left on his contract at Ashton Gate, but this kind of bid could be too much for the Robins to turn down with only days to go until the start of the season.
