With only 23 days until the start of the 2019/20 Championship campaign, things are beginning to heat up in the summer transfer window.

We have seen Leeds United lose one of their most important players in Pontus Jansson to a potential promotion rival, Fulham confirming that their star-man Aleksandar Mitrovic will be staying at Craven Cottage, and Nottingham Forest continuing to make some pretty impressive additions.

And the City Ground is where we begin today's transfer round-up, as the Reds have completed their sixth summer signing...

Adomah to Forest

Forest have completed their sixth signing of the summer, with Albert Adomah arriving on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old was released by Aston Villa upon the expiry of his contract last season, despite playing a key role in helping Dean Smith's side win promotion to the Premier League.

The winger scored 22 goals in 125 games for the West Midlands side, and will be looking to add another promotion to his CV at the City Ground next season.

Hull sign Eaves

Hull City have signed Gillingham forward Tom Eaves on a three-year deal, as reported by the club's official website.

The 27-year-old scored 22 goals in 50 appearances for the Gills last season, despite the Kent club finishing 13th in the Sky Bet League One table.

But after his contract expired at Priestfield, the towering forward has bid farewell to the club, with the Tigers signing him on a free transfer.

Leeds set to let go of another youngster

According to Football Insider, Leeds defender Tyler Denton is set to join League Two side Stevenage.

The 23-year-old has made just three first-team appearances for the Whites, all coming in the 2016/17 campaign under Garry Monk.

But after enduring loan spells with Port Vale and Peterborough, the defender is set to leave Elland Road for good, and it is believed that the club will allow him to leave for free despite having a year left on his current contract.

Brentford sign Jensen

After making a huge statement of intent by signing Leeds defender Pontus Jansson a couple of days ago, Brentford have made another signing in the form of Mathias Jensen.

The midfielder arrives at Griffin Park from Celta Vigo for a reported fee of £3.5million. He has captained the Denmark under-21 side on numerous occasions.

The 23-year-old made only six appearances for Vigo after signing for the La Liga side last summer, but has now completed a switch to West London to sign for Thomas Frank's side.

Aston Villa in advanced talks to sign Konsa

According to Football Insider, Aston Villa are in advanced talks to sign Brentford centre-back Ezri Konsa.

The Villans have already completed the permanent signings of Tyrone Mings and Kortney Hause this summer, but Dean Smith is reportedly keen on reuniting with his former defender Konza.

The 21-year-old has been attracting interest from Wolves in recent times, but a proposed move to Molineux has recently broken down.

Derby in for Dowell

Finally, Derby County are interested in signing former Nottingham Forest loanee Kieran Dowell from Everton, according to the Daily Mail.

The 21-year-old helped Sheffield United win promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring two goals in 17 appearances for the Blades in the second half of the campaign.

The midfielder also scored 10 goals on loan with Forest in the 2017/18 campaign, and has emerged as a loan target for Phillip Cocu's side, who will be looking to replace former loanee Mason Mount who has returned to parent club Chelsea.
