It has been another busy week of transfer activity so far, with plenty of managers still trying to get deals done ahead of the brand new EFL campaign.

There are only 10 days to go until Luton Town open the season off against Middlesbrough at Kenilworth Road, so the weather isn't the only thing that is heating up at the moment, with transfer activity intensifying.

Today, we start off at Elland Road, where a high-profile departure could be on the cards...

Kiko Casilla

Spanish media outlet Marca claims that Sevilla are eyeing a move for Kiko Casilla.

The 32-year-old has divided opinions at Elland Road since his arrival from Real Madrid last January, making a handful of mistakes in between the sticks for Marcelo Bielsa's side.

He still has over three years left on his deal at the club, though, and Victor Orta has recently said that he will not be leaving this summer.

Jason Cummings

St Johnstone are believed to be interested in signing Jason Cummings on loan from Nottingham Forest this summer, via the Evening Telegraph.

The 23-year-old has scored just four goals in 17 appearances for the Reds since signing from Hibernian in 2017, and has since failed to impress out on loan with Rangers, Peterborough and Luton.

We exclusively reported last week that SPFL sides were taking an interest in Cummings, with a move to St Johnstone now potentially on the cards.

Trevoh Chalobah

Huddersfield are interested in signing Trevoh Chalobah from Chelsea on a permanent deal this summer, according to reports from Goal.

The 20-year-old impressed on loan with Ipswich Town last season and was one of their standout performers despite being relegated to League One.

The versatile defender is yet to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea though, and it is understood that a permanent move away from Stamford Bridge could be on the offing.

Jake Clarke-Salter

Birmingham City have signed Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter on loan for the 2019/20 campaign.

The 21-year-old has impressed away from Stamford Bridge at Vitesse Arnhem over the last year, and has also endured loan spells with Sunderland and Bristol Rovers in his career.

Leeds United and Swansea City were also linked with the towering defender, but he now becomes Birmingham's third signing of a quiet summer.

Gavin Whyte

Oxford's Gavin Whyte is a player believed to be in serious demand, with Cardiff City reportedly tabling a seven-figure bid for the attacker as per Football Insider.

The 23-year-old signed for the U's last season from Crusaders, scoring nine goals and adding seven assists for Karl Robinson's side last term.

Reports from the Oxford Mail, though, have claimed that rumours linking him with a move to the Bluebirds are wide of the mark.
