With just over three weeks to go until the start of the 2019/20 Championship campaign, clubs are now beginning to reassemble their squads ahead of the brand new season.

We have seen plenty of deals get completed over the last few weeks, with clubs now beginning to offer big bucks for those players that are very high in demand.

Starting off today's round-up is Ezri Konsa, who has joined a new club for a reported multi-million pound fee from Brentford...

Villa sign Konsa

Premier League side Aston Villa have completed the signing of Brentford defender Ezri Konsa.

The England under-21 international is obviously no stranger to Dean Smith, after bringing him to Griffin Park from Charlton Athletic last summer.

And the Villa boss has now moved to complete a deal for the highly-rated centre-half, for a fee believed to be in the region of £12million.

Leeds want Sawyers

Football Insider claim that Leeds are set to join Celtic in the race for Brentford playmaker Romaine Sawyers.

It is believed that the SPFL champions have already had a £1.5m bid turned down for the 27-year-old, who is reportedly valued by the Bees at a price of around £2.5million.

But now, it is claimed that Marcelo Bielsa's Leeds United are interested in signing Sawyers, who is entering the final year of his contract at Griffin Park.

Burnley want Peacock-Farrell

On the topic of Leeds, Premier League side Burnley are reportedly interested in signing goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

The Clarets, according to the Mirror, will look to sign the 22-year-old as backup to Nick Pope, if Tom Heaton departs Turf Moor and signs for Aston Villa.

Peacock-Farrell was a regular for Leeds in the first half of last season, but was frozen out by Bielsa after the arrival of Kiko Casilla from Real Madrid.

Derby set to sign Dowell

Phillip Cocu looks set to make his first signing as Derby boss, with the Rams edging closer to completing the signing of Kieran Dowell from Everton.

The 21-year-old helped Sheffield United win promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring twice in 17 appearances for the Blades.

He also scored 10 goals in 43 games for Nottingham Forest the season before that, and now looks set to join the Rams on a season-long loan deal according to John Percy of the Telegraph.

It is believed that the midfielder had a medical with the club over in Florida on Wednesday night.

Preston accept bid for Callum Robinson

Preston North End have confirmed via their club website that they have accepted a bid from an unnamed Premier League club for forward Callum Robinson.

The 24-year-old scored 13 goals in all competitions last season, despite missing nearly four months of the season due to injury.

Norwich City were the most recent top-flight side linked with the attacker's signature, but it remains to be seen whether his next destination will be.
