David Wagner’s Huddersfield Town have made a second bid for Wolves winger Rajiv La Parra, according to HITC.
The Terriers have stepped up their pursuit of the Dutchman by making an improved offer to Wolves for the former Feyenoord man, who has been impressive this season in the Championship.
Middlesbrough are among other clubs monitoring the winger, as they look to bolster their squad for their promotion push.
La Parra has recently returned to Wolves from a fruitful loan spell with Brighton and Hove Albion – he appeared six times for the Seagulls – scoring two goals.
Since his return to the Black Country, he has started in Wolves’ last four games and has been an influential figure for Kenny Jackett’s side.
Huddersfield currently occupy 17th place in the League and La Parra would be a welcome addition to the squad, to help them sustain their Championship status for another year.
The Terriers have amassed 32 points from 28 league games this season, in what has been a season of transition, that has seen them fail to maintain any sort of consistency.
Wagner’s side have only lost three of their last ten league games, and will be hoping to pick up a victory against Cardiff City in their next league match on Saturday.
