Championship side Barnsley make bid for 20-goal League One striker

Barnsley are the latest Championship club to show interest in Walsall striker Tom Bradshaw, making a £350,000 bid, according to the Daily Mail.

The Saddlers value the player at £750,000, so are set to decline this offer, but with one year left on his contract might be tempted to cash in and get more than they would this time next year.

This news comes soon after the Tykes had a £250,000 bid rejected for Bradshaw, and it is also believed that Preston North End and Birmingham City are interested in the Saddlers’ star man.

The 23-year old made his international debut for Wales earlier this year, appearing in the 1-0 defeat to Ukraine in Kiev.

He is one of the brightest talents in League One, and was unlucky not to gain promotion to the Championship with his team last season.

They missed out on automatic promotion by a single point, before being comprehensively beaten by Paul Heckingbottom’s team in the play-off semi-final.

Walsall fans, do you think it is inevitable that Bradshaw will be leaving this summer? Let us know below!
