According to The Irish Sun, Millwall striker Aiden O’Brien is attracting interest from four Championship clubs ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.
Play-off hopefuls Fulham and Barnsley and joined by struggling duo Queens Park Rangers and Wigan Athletic in the race to land O’Brien’s services.
The 23-year-old has netted 8 goals and added a further 2 assists which has helped form a dangerous attacking trio of options with Lee Gregory and Steve Morison also in form.
However Millwall have had a disappointing season by their standards and they sit three points outside of the play-off zone.
This could mean that the former Republic of Ireland under-21 international might favour a move to the Championship to further his career.
Wigan will be looking to add another forward to compete with Will Grigg and Yanic Wildschut whilst QPR are in the market for a new striker too.
Adam Armstrong’s loan at Barnsley expires in January so O’Brien could be a replacement and Fulham will look to add another option alongside Chris Martin.
