Jay Emmanuel-Thomas looks set to depart Queens Park Rangers and join League 1 side Gillingham on a loan deal until the end of the season, according to West London Sport.
The Arsenal academy product arrived at Loftus Road a year ago after he was released by Bristol City, but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by in West London.
He spent the end of last season on loan at MK Dons as they were relegated from the Championship, and has now decided to drop down a level to find first-team football in Kent.
He joins a side who were very close to securing promotion from the third tier last campaign, before a spectacular collapse at the end of the season saw them drop out of the play-off positions altogether.
Justin Edinburgh has set about rebuilding his squad this summer, and will be hopeful that Emmanuel-Thomas can help them go a little further and achieve promotion to the Championship.
