Arsenal striker Stephy Mavididi is on Bolton Wanderers' radar this summer, according to The Bolton News.

Bolton Wanderers manager Phil Parkinson has told The Bolton News that Stephy Mavididi is a possible transfer target for the club ahead of the 2017/18 season.

Bolton were promoted to the Championship last season after claiming the second automatic spot in League One.

Ahead of their upcoming campaign in the second tier, Phil Parkinson has been busy at work with his transfer activity.

The Trotters have managed to re-sign a number of players, including David Wheater, Dorian Dervite, Gary Madine, Filipe Morais and Jem Karacan.

As well as this, Bolton have tied up some signings: Adam Armstrong recently arrived on a half-season loan deal from Newcastle United while Mark Little, Andy Taylor, Adam le Fondre, Will Buckley, Stephen Darby and Sammy Ameobi have all come through the door at the Macron Stadium.

Stephy Mavididi is the latest transfer target for Bolton Wanderers as Phil Parkinson eyes a loan deal for the striker.

The 19-year-old is likely to leave on loan this summer to gain some first team minutes.

On deadline day in January 2017, Mavididi was sent out on loan to League One side Charlton Athletic but returned to the Gunners after suffering an injury five games in.

Bolton Wanderers could now snap up the England under-19 striker on loan from Arsenal.
