Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic does not want to sell Ryan Sessegnon this January, West London Sport are reporting.

Ryan Sessegnon has been attracting plenty of attention from Premier League teams, such as Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.

The 17-year-old has been stealing headlines since making his first team breakthrough last season.

He became the youngest ever Championship goal scorer at the age of 16 while at the same time becoming the first player born in the 2000s to score in the Football League.

His rapid rise to prominence has continued this year and Sessegnon's tally of seven league goals this term ranks him as Fulham's top scorer and one of the highest scorers in the Championship - despite being a teenager and a left back.

The England youth international's performances have not gone unnoticed among the big clubs and he has been a long term target for a host of top flight clubs, although Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur appear to be leading the race at the moment.

Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic was brief but clear when quizzed about the future of Sessegnon.

He said: "I don’t have any information. We don’t want to sell him."

The Verdict

Ryan Sessegnon is one of the top players at Fulham despite only being 17.

Given his age and his tremendous potential, the Cottagers should be holding out for a very hefty price tag.

But they will be encouraged in the meantime to hear these words from Jokanovic - Fulham are going to dig their heels in to keep their prize asset.
