A number of Championship and League One clubs are interested in taking Huddersfield Town striker Jordy Hiwula, reports HITC.
The 23-year-old has been loaned out every season he has been with the Terriers and is now way down the pecking order.
In his three years at the John Smith’s stadium, he has been sent on loan four times so it is likely that David Wagner will be looking to send him out again.
He spent last season on loan at Fleetwood Town in League One scoring nine goals and assisting four more in his 43 games there.
Hiwula’s most notable loan spell came with Bradford City two seasons ago where he scored nine goals and assisted three on the Bantam’s run to the League One playoff final.
Fleetwood and Bradford aside, he has also spent time with Wigan Athletic and Walsall in recent seasons, so has plenty of League One experience.
A loan move seems sensible for both parties here.
Hiwula has not done enough to suggest he should be given a shot in the Terrier’s first team so a loan would be the best thing for him.
If he can impress at the club he ends up with, then who knows? I certainly would not rule out a future spot in Huddersfield’s XI.
