Nottingham Forest kept up the pressure on leaders West Brom this weekend with a 1-0 victory against Brentford at the City Ground.

Sabri Lamouchi's side triumphed thanks to Ben Watson's volley from inside the area in the second period of the game, leaving them level on points with the Baggies at the top of the table.

Forest are unbeaten in the league since the opening day of the season and look a good bet to be around the top six throughout the campaign. Their new manager has made them tough to break down, with plenty of steel to complement their attacking flair players.

Samba Sow is one such player; he signed a two-year deal with the Reds this summer after leaving Dynamo Kiev and his tough, uncompromising approach has won him plenty of fans in Nottingham.

One challenge, on Bryan Mbuemo, typifies the approach the Malian takes and it earnt a retweet from the man himself on social media this morning.

Plenty of supporters took the time to offer their appreciation of his robust approach as you'll see below.
