Championship side Millwall have confirmed the loan signing of Sheffield United winger Oliver Burke for the remainder of the season.

The 24-year-old was in need of a fresh start after rarely being given the chance to shine at Bramall Lane this term, with all three of his league appearances during the 2021/22 campaign coming in the Blades' opening three matches.

He did come on as a substitute in their FA Cup tie against Wolverhampton Wanderers earlier this month - but he was seemingly deemed surplus to requirements at the club after failing to make it off the bench several times.

He has now ended up at Gary Rowett's side, who are desperately in need of more attacking threat following Sheyi Ojo's injury, one that looks set to rule the Liverpool loanee out of action for ten weeks.

Jed Wallace's future also looks uncertain amid links with Nottingham Forest, a real hammer blow to the Lions who have relied on the ex-Wolverhampton Wanderers man to be their main talisman in recent weeks.

This move may seem like a shrewd one because of that then - but are the second-tier side's fans happy with this arrival? Do they have reservations about his lack of game time in recent months?
