Norwich City are set to seal their promotion back to the Premier League in the near future with Daniel Farke having managed to guide the club on course to a second promotion in three seasons.

The Canaries have been by far the best side in the Championship throughout the campaign and Farke has managed to perform an excellent job in refocusing their efforts following their relegation last term. As a result, Norwich look set to secure the league title as well as promotion and it has cemented the German’s reputation as a quality manager.

Farke is now reportedly attracting the attentions of Bundesliga high-flyers Eintracht Frankfurt, who are currently well on course to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League. That has already seen them lose their current manager Adi Hütter who after guiding Frankfurt to fourth place in the table has been snapped up by rivals Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Frankfurt have placed Farke on their list of potential candidates to take over from Hütter with them having been impressed by the work he has done at Carrow Road. It is also being reported by TEAMtalk though that Norwich are desperate to keep hold if him and for him to commit his future to the club by signing a new deal.

Given all of the latest speculation, we asked out FLW writers for their thoughts on whether Farke could leave Norwich this summer…

Phil Spencer

Not a chance.

Daniel Farke's future looks almost certain to be with Norwich City as they prepare to head back to the Premier League.

After a stunning season in the Championship, there's no doubt that Farke will want to guide the Canaries back to the top flight and prove that they're deserving of their place in England's top 20.

A move to Frankfurt would no doubt be appealing but I don't think that now is the time to jump ship.

Perhaps he'd consider it in 12 months if the club suffers relegation, but for now, it's far too exciting a time for Farke to leave Carrow Road.

Ned Holmes

I'd certainly be nervous if I was Norwich fan.

Personally, I think Farke will stay but if the reports are true, then a move to Frankfurt and the offer of European football has got to be hard to turn down.

The Canaries boss will surely feel he has unfinished business in the Premier League after lasting just one season last time, so I'd be very surprised if he doesn't give it another crack.

That said, if he feels his squad is going to be decimated by sales in the summer he may jump ship.

Toby Wilding

To be honest, I would be rather surprised if Farke was to leave Norwich any time soon.

Given the way that things worked out for Norwich last time they were in the Premier League, you feel there is a chance Farke will believe he has something to prove in the top-flight.

As a result, with Norwich well on course to secure promotion this season, I do think Farke will want to stick around at Carrow Road to try and do that in the 2021/22 campaign.

Add to that the fact that he does seem to have formed a strong relationship with the club during his four years at Norwich so far, where he has managed to build a team he ought to see as being in his mould, and it could be argued that Farke has no reason to really need or want to leave Norwich at this moment in time.
