Scottish giants, Celtic are reportedly eyeing a loan deal for West Brom winger, Oliver Burke according to The Sun.
Burke has struggled for regular game time at West Brom this season, so it’s no surprise to see the youngster being linked with a move away from the Hawthorns this month.
This move could be very tempting for the 21-year-old who is a Scottish international, but he will be keen to get first-team assurances before making any move.
Celtic are currently sat top of the Scottish Premier League and Burke could add to their already impressive attacking firepower for the remainder of the season.
If he can impress with Brendan Rodgers’ side, then he could certainly give West Brom boss, Darren Moore a selection headache when he returns from the loan spell.
Burke is a man in demand this year, and has already been linked with the likes of Milwall and Wigan Athletic, so Celtic will have to act quickly to secure a deal for the winger.
The pacy winger has only made three league appearances, which have all been from the substitutes bench, so he’s sure to be a frustrated figure with the Championship side heading into the New Year.
This would be an ideal move for both parties involved.
Burke isn’t getting the game time he needs at West Brom this season and he would certainly benefit from a loan move elsewhere.
Celtic could be the perfect destination for him, as they have already shown that they can develop the best British talent, after previously doing the same with Patrick Roberts.
