Celtic leading Nottingham Forest and Brighton in race to secure deal for striker

Published

Celtic, Brighton and Nottingham Forest are battling it out for the signature of Dunfermline striker Paul Crossan, according to the Courier.

Scottish giants Celtic are leading the chase for the 17-year-old prodigy with the Bhoys already entering negotiations with Dunfermline for his signature after having a bid accepted.

This is more than the Championship duo of Brighton and Forest have done, who have reportedly sent scouts to watch him in the past being sufficiently impressed to consider a move.

Crossan has mainly featured for the U20 side at Dunfermline impressing enough to break into the first team towards the end of the season.

Crossan’s contract has run out at¬†East End Park but the Scottish Championship side have offered him a new deal, and it is now up to him whether he stays and progresses further or goes to Celtic fulfilling a lifelong dream, but it will be quite the fight for first team football.
