According to Football Insider, Celtic have joined Chelsea and Everton in the chase to sign highly-rated youngster Mohamed Sankoh from Sky Bet Championship side Stoke City.
The transfer window’s opening date is yet to be confirmed given the current situation but the off-period has allowed clubs to look at what they might want to do in it without much distraction in terms of planning for matches.
Celtic, of course, are looking on the right path in terms of winning a ninth league title in a row and Neil Lennon will then be aiming to strengthen his side further.

Sankoh could be part of their summer recruitment drive, then, though at 16-years-old he is likely one for the future rather than the immediate term.
The Hoops are not alone in looking to sign him, though, with Everton and Chelsea also thought to be keen with both aiming to have productive windows once open for business.
Carlo Ancelotti will want to sell the Everton dream, whilst Frank Lampard will want to show Sankoh things have changed at Chelsea and that youth players do now get a chance.
Celtic, though, are well placed to try and sign Sankoh given their record of bringing through young attackers and perhaps that will tempt him north of the border.
