Blackburn Rovers winger Connor Mahoney is already attracting plenty of attention this summer.

According to The Daily Mail, Celtic will battle Nottingham Forest and Wolverhampton Wanderers in an attempt to sign Connor Mahoney.

Mahoney was used sparingly by Blackburn Rovers last season and mainly as a substitute despite widespread appeals from the fans to see more of him.

When he did play, the talented winger impressed with his dribbling skills and ability to use both feet.

The 20-year-old is out of contract at Blackburn Rovers and has so far stalled on signing a new deal with his club set to compete in League One next year.

Celtic, Nottingham Forest and Wolves are all keen on taking advantage of this situation and landing him in a cut-price deal.

Given the fact that he is under the age of 23, any potential suitor would have to pay a compensation fee to Blackburn because they offered him a new contract to stay at Ewood Park.

Blackburn Rovers are set to stand firm and take this transfer to a tribunal to get as much money for their talented young winger as possible.

Nottingham Forest are in pole position to land the Blackburn starlet but the appeal of playing European football with Celtic could tempt Mahoney.

Wolves poached Ben Marshall from Blackburn in January and could use him as leverage to lure Mahoney to Molineux.
