The coming summer is a big one for Paul Heckingbottom and Leeds United.

Leeds have disappointed during the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign, with the Whites failing to capitalise on a magnificent start to the season and heading for a mid-table finish in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Whites have just two victories to their name since the turn of the year, with the start of 2018 certainly one to forget.

Heckingbottom faces a huge summer, with plenty to work on at Elland Road, particularly in the transfer market.

There are huge weaknesses in Leeds’ side, with goalkeeper one problem position.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell is in-charge of the gloves now, but Leeds are unlikely to take the 21-year-old into next season at No.1, despite an impressive introduction to first-team football.

With Felix Wiedwald and Andy Lonergan seemingly on their way out, here is a look at THREE options Leeds should consider in the summer…

Bentley has been terrific for Brentford in recent seasons, really impressing at Championship level.

Massimo Cellino once considered bringing the goalkeeper to Elland Road, but a move never materialised.

Leeds should certainly test Brentford’s resolve in the summer.

Westwood has been a key part of Sheffield Wednesday’s squad in recent years, with the experienced goalkeeper impressive at Hillsborough.

With two young goalkeepers now pushing the Irish international, Leeds could lure Westwood away with the promise of first-team football.

Ruddy has just won promotion with Wolves.

However, next season, in the Premier League, Wolves could well want a new first choice, which could open the door for Ruddy to depart.

If Ruddy is heading out of Molineux, he could be the perfect fit at Elland Road, as Peacock-Farrell continues to develop.
