Swansea City have taken many by surprise this season, with Steve Cooper's side currently sat top of the Championship table.

They head into the international break in excellent form as well, having beaten Leeds United 1-0 at Elland Road on Saturday, courtesy of a late strike from Wayne Routledge.

Not many would have predicted that the Swans would be challenging for promotion this term, especially after they lost both Oliver McBurnie and Daniel James during the summer transfer window.

But they've been hugely impressive so far in this year's league campaign, although supporters won't be getting ahead of themselves at such an early stage of the season.

Some of Cooper's squad will be on international duty this week, although some will be taking a well-earned rest ahead of their game against Nottingham Forest on 14th September.

In our latest social round-up, we look at what some of the Swansea squad have been getting up to during the international break, with some players in action for their respective countries.

Bersant Celina

Celina has been one of Swansea'a best players going forward this season, and will be hoping that he can take that form into international duty over the next week.

The attacking midfielder will be in action for

Connor Roberts

Roberts will be hoping that he can get another cap for Wales to his name when they take on Azerbaijan in their Euro 2020 qualifier, before facing Belarus in a friendly shortly after.

The full-back has been hugely impressive for the Swans this season, and will be hoping that he can build on these performances heading into the international set of fixtures.

Roberts took to Instagram to issue an insight into his training ahead of the test against Azerbaijan, which is a game where they'll be expected to come away with three points.

Ben Wilmot

Wilmot hasn't been a regular for Steve Cooper's side, but he looks as though he could be a useful option to rely upon when needed throughout this year's campaign.

The Watford loanee has been called up to the England under 20's squad for their upcoming games against.

The central defender took to Instagram to voice his delight at being selected to represent his county again, and will be keen to get some minutes under his belt for the Three Lions.
