Sheffield Wednesday are one of a handful of Championship sides that should be in the running for the play-offs come the end of the season.

And they've had a decent start and sit ninth in the table with 17 points going into the international break.

They've had some solid results with wins against the likes of Aston Villa but at times, they've lost their nerve too.

Getting some real form will be manager Carlos Carvalhal's main priority going forward and with a tricky tie against Huddersfield coming up in a couple of weeks, the boss will need to be thinking about his lineup sooner rather than later.

And whilst we've seen some really good performances, some players haven't quite lived up to expectations and a spell on the sidelines might be coming their way.

So with that in mind, Carvalhal must drop these TWO Sheffield Wednesday players in every game from now on...

Daniel Pudil

Has just come back from injury and in the game against Brighton and Hove Albion, he looked seriously shaky at left-back.

You've got to feel for the Czech Republic international a little- a spell on the subs bench is never what you want after coming back from injury but against the Seagulls, he just wasn't good enough at all.

Adam Reach has done a good job playing full-back so far and that might be a move Carlos Carvalhal needs to make again whilst Pudil really recovers from injury.

To keep competition at its best, dropping Pudil might be best, for the time being.

Steven Fletcher

Fletcher is a solid player at this level but at times, can be seriously ineffective.

He didn't get a sniff against Brighton this weekend whereas rival striker Gary Hooper came on, looked busy and scored a goal to give his side some hope. It was all in vain as the game finished 2-1 to Chris Hughton's side but he offered a lot more than Fletcher when we're looking at the whole of the game.

Hooper has had to play second fiddle quite a lot this season and this could be his chance to really break into the first team squad.
