Middlesbrough will be looking to bring their momentum into the weekend’s Championship fixture, after knocking Chris Coleman’s Sunderland out of the FA Cup. 

Indeed, Middlesbrough have been a completely different side since Tony Pulis took over at the helm.

Their Saturday afternoon clash against the Black Cats saw them come out as deserved winners, after two first-half strikes from Martin Braithwaite and Rudy Gestede booked a place in the next round for Boro.

And boy will they be happy they did. After drawing Chris Hugton’s Brighton and Hove Albion side in the fourth-round of the FA Cup, as they host the Seagulls at the Riverside.

After scoring the second in their last outing against Sunderland, Martin Braithwaite will be keen to build on his performance after only netting six times since his £10 million move.

Nevertheless, after the draw for the fourth-round was made. The Danish international took to his personal Twitter account (@MartinBraith) to share his excitement after the draw.

Following the post from the striker, fans were quick to relive past moments, and fancy a cup run as they looked to book their place at Wembley.
