Wes Hoolahan wants to finish his Norwich career at Carrow Road rather than the last game of the season.

The Irish playmaker is coming to the end of his 10 year spell at the club where he has been involved in three promotion campaigns.

Two of those were back-to-back promotions up to the Premier League from League One while the other was promotion in 2015 back to the Premier League the season after being relegated, but they were unable to stay there and haven't seriously challenged for promotion since.

It's been a successful period at the club for the 35-year-old, but it's now time to move on with his contract expiring at the end of the season. Daniel Farke revealed in his press conference that Hoolahan wants to end his Norwich career in the last home game rather than at Sheffield Wednesday, which is the final match of the season.

The Verdict

He has been a loyal servant for the club with plenty of success and magical moments which have ensured he has a big place in their history.

It makes sense that he wants to end his time at the Canaries in front of the fans, and it's nice that the club is giving him the proper send-off that he deserves with the Leeds match basically dedicated to him.
