Looking to make another important step towards ensuring Championship survival, Barnsley face the difficult task of heading to Sheffield United tomorrow.

Despite the Blades' recent excellence on home soil, it appears that their injury crisis has continued to worsen in recent weeks, something the Tykes will be hoping to capitalise on.

Picking up 14 points from their last eight games, Barnsley have made impressive strides in their bid for second-tier survival, with performance levels justifying their turn of form.

The Tykes find themselves two points shy of Reading in 21st place, and with Barnsley possessing a kinder goal difference, the Yorkshire club will be growing in confidence that they can survive.

With one game left to play before the international break, and with a further eight games to play after that, it is certainly expected to be a competitive run-in.

Here, we take a look at how Barnsley could line up against the Blades tomorrow...

It is expected that Brad Collins will continue operating in-between the sticks for Barnsley, with the 24-year-old making that number one spot his own in recent seasons.

Callum Brittain are the likely candidates to start in the full-back positions, with the pair both proving defensive cover and attacking threat.

Despite competition from Liam Kitching, it is hard to argue with Mads Andersen and Michal Helik seeing minutes from the start once more.

21-year-old duo Matty Wolfe and Claudio Gomes should be deployed just ahead of the defence, with the former enjoying a good run in the side since returning from Esbjerg.

Callum Styles, who has earned his first call-up to the Hungary national side, is likely to continue operating on the right of three that supports a lone striker.

In January additions, Domingos Quina and Amine Bassi, have been excellent for the Tykes since touching down at Oakwell, adding creativity and excitement in the attacking third, with the pair likely to feature on the left and more centrally respectively.

There are doubts as to whether Carlton Morris will be deemed fit enough to play tomorrow, however, he did train on Thursday, meaning he could be included from the start.
