Huddersfield Town travel to Wembley this weekend to take on Nottingham Forest in the Championship play-off final with the hope of gaining promotion to the Premier League.

Huddersfield have had a successful season finishing the league in third position and Carlos Corberan's players have proved to be hard to play against.

The Terriers boss has a largely available squad going into this game which causes him all the right problems as he selects who will be included in the squad, and who will miss out at the opportunity to play at Wembley.

Talking about the squad selection, Corberan admitted to The Yorkshire Post: "It's not going to be easy for me because some of the players who are not going to be involved in the game could easily be starting and I know all the families will be there with them and it's a special moment for everyone.

"It's going to be one of the worst moments I have as a coach.

"I have to make some unfair decisions because I can only select 16 outfield players plus two keepers."

It is the substitute bench that is giving the boss a headache though as he admitted his starting 11 is prepared as he said: "All the players that are going to play know who's going to be in the first XI and who is not.

"We have decided and we've been working with the team just to create the habits of which players are going to play.

"We have had a lot of time to prepare for this important game and we've divided it into two parts. The first part we were preparing in Portugal and we have been here all week to prepare for the game, so we've had a lot of time to work on the details.

"The players are really motivated with a very good level of concentration knowing the key is what we do on the pitch. They've been very focused."

The Verdict:

As previously mentioned, Corberan has the best kind of problem going into this weekend with the number of players available and him having to choose who to include in his squad and who will not be involved on the day.

This is obviously going to be a hard decision for the Huddersfield boss given how many good players he has in his squad and the effort that has come from his side to get them to this point.

With Sunday's game being such a big occasion, anyone not included will be disappointed to miss out.

However, the mood that seems to have been built up in the team this season suggests that everyone will know that the manager is making the best decision for the team and that is the most important thing on the day. Furthermore, if they achieve promotion all the boys will be included in the celebrations.
