Huddersfield Town manager Carlos Corberan has admitted that his side have played better despite coming away from Millwall with a 3-0 victory.

It was another impressive display from his Terriers side and shows once more how much of an improvement he has brought to the Huddersfield team as they look to finish much higher than they did in the last campaign,

Goals from Josh Koroma, Pipa and Lewis O'Brien gave the Terriers all three points, and it means that they go into a game with Bristol City full of confidence and 12th in the Championship table.

Corberan has stated that he thinks Huddersfield played better the other day against Birmingham City but has still expressed how good the performance and result was in the victory over Millwall.

Speaking to the Yorkshire Post, Corberan said: "I think sometimes when you get the good result, you are thinking it is one of the best performances, but for me the second half the other day was brilliant, against Birmingham."

The Verdict

Huddersfield have looked like they're slowly improving in recent weeks, and Corberan seems to have made them a difficult team to beat and play against.

It's been a good start to the campaign for them and they are clearly making some good progress with the the side, which is promising to see.

Winning at a side like Millwall who are one of the hardest teams to travel to is a great success for Corberan and if he can carry on picking up results like this one, then they'll be challenging in the top-half rather than the bottom-half.
