Under the guidance of Neil Warnock, Cardiff City have turned around a disastrous start to the season to sit in the comfortable haven of mid table.

Currently sat in 14th place, the Bluebirds are 12 points clear of the drop zone and in no immediate danger of being dragged into a relegation battle.

Likewise, Cardiff are 14 points off the play-off zone so the rest of the season is merely for Warnock to experiment with certain personnel, find his best team and running the rule over some fringe players.

Warnock will already have his eye on the summer transfer window.

He brought in four free agents within a week of being appointed (Kieran Richardson, Marouane Chamakh, Junior Hoilett and Sol Bamba) and he knows that he is working on a tiny budget at Cardiff.

Warnock will therefore be casting his eye on players who are about to become free agents and here are 2 Premier League players who fit the bill and could join Cardiff this summer.

Fraizer Campbell

Cardiff could do with a player like Fraizer Campbell back at their club.

With Kenneth Zohore scoring goals, he needs another striker to share the burden with him.

Campbell is out of favour at Crystal Palace but a proven goal scorer at Championship level and he'd be a shrewd acquisition on a free transfer.

Lloyd Isgrove

Cardiff could also do with a few more options out wide, especially if they can't agree a new contract with Kadeem Harris.

Southampton's Lloyd Isgrove is likely to leave in the summer with his contract up and the Championship seems like a suitable destination for the Wales international.

The 24-year-old speedy winger would offer Warnock a decent option and he might be tempted by a move to Wales to boost his international prospects.
