Cardiff manager Neil Warnock gives update on Bruno Manga’s future

According to Wales Online, Neil Warnock has not changed his mind on Bruno Ecuele Manga and still expects the defender to leave Cardiff City in January.

Bruno Manga has returned to the first team for the first time under Neil Warnock when he came on as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Ipswich following a red card to Sol Bamba.

Manga also played in the 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers and his performance was praised by Warnock, who said that he had “listened well”.

With Bamba likely to be out for a longer period of time due to an FA charge brought against him for his antics against Ipswich, Manga could be set for more game time.

But Warnock is adamant that the Gabon international will leave in January because of his hefty wages.

Cardiff need to sell to buy and Warnock has made it clear that the 28-year-old will be offloaded to balance the books.

Cardiff fans – what have you made of Manga’s recent performances? Do you need to sell him because of his wages? Let us know in the comments below…
