Cardiff City will be looking to get back on track this weekend as the men from South Wales aim to preserve their promotion challenge.

The Bluebirds have hit a bit of a stumbling block in recent games and that has left them outside of the top two in the Championship table.

Even so, they have still got more than a good chance to at least have a shot at the play-offs and if they can beat Sunderland tomorrow combined with Derby tripping up at Birmingham they'll be back in the top two.

Not a time to panic, then, and it seems as though Neil Warnock is looking to strengthen his side where he can with HITC reporting that the club is eyeing up a move for Adam Forshaw.

A good midfield player with Premier League experience, Forshaw would bring some promotion winning knowhow to the club from his days with Middlesbrough.

He hasn't played as much as he'd have liked at Boro either this season and so he might be tempted by a move to the Welsh capital.

Let's see, then, if the men in blue make a move in earnest for the former Everton man.

The Verdict

This has the potential to be a good signing.

Forshaw is a handy player to be able to call upon but Boro seem to have fallen out of interest with him. Perhaps, then, a move to Cardiff would be best for all involved.
