Cardiff City look set to re-sign ex midfielder Joe Ledley, according to a report in the Croydon Advertiser.
The experienced Crystal Palace and Wales midfielder appears set to join Neil Warnock back in Wales following Sam Allardyce’s decision to walk away from Selhurst Park, with a free transfer expected to be completed shortly.
Ledley had success with Cardiff previously, before moving on from the club following a series of impressive performances, and has since gone on to become a regular with both Celtic and Palace.
The Welsh international will no doubt be welcomed home with open arms by Bluebirds fans, who remain in a positive mood following their relative success since Warnock took over midway through last season.
Warnock himself will be keen to add new faces, and has a history in management of adding players who know their surroundings and the league they play in, something which has proved a successful formula during his career.
Ledley will be hoping to re-establish himself as a regular first teamer following losing his place at Palace towards the end of last season, with Cardiff looking like the ideal place for him to achieve just that.
