Morrison ranks as Cardiff's fifth-highest earner with his £25,000-per-week wage in the Welsh capital, and his strong performances across his five-and-a-half years at the club do justify this outlay.

The 29-year-old has yet again been a key player at the heart of defence for the Bluebirds this term.

Murphy joined from Norwich ahead of the Bluebirds' Premier League campaign in the 2018/19 season, but the winger has experienced mixed fortunes in south Wales to date.

The former MK Dons loanee has chipped in with some important goals during Cardiff's promotion push this season, with this going some of the way to re-paying the Bluebirds' faith in him which saw them give him a £25,000-per-week contract.

Adomah may not officially be Cardiff's player given he is only on loan from Championship rivals Nottingham Forest, but he still ranks as the club's third-highest earner with an estimated £25,000-per-week deal.

The winger has made a strong impression during his early appearances for the Bluebirds, with Adomah having established himself in the side.

Hoilett has been a long-time servant for the Bluebirds after first joining the club back in 2016, and he continues to play an important role during his fourth campaign in the Welsh capital.

The Canadian ranks highly on this list with his reported £28,000-per-week wages.

It may come as a surprise to learn that Smithies is Cardif's highest earner at present with his estimated £30,000-per-week salary, with this having been handed to him following Cardiff's relegation in 2019.

The ex-QPR man has played second fiddle to Neil Etheridge for a large portion of this season, but he has now ousted the Philippines international from between the sticks.
