Neil Warnock's revolution at Cardiff City is well under way and this could just be the beginning of something great in south Wales to join rivals Swansea City in the top-flight.

The Bluebirds have already completed the signings of Neil Etheridge and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing, and should now look to improve their striker options ahead of the new Championship season.

This is why I suggest the boss starts a pursuit to acquire current Norwich City forward Cameron Jerome during the summer transfer window, if they want to guarantee goals to climb up the table.

The 30-year-old has been part of the set-up at Carrow Road since the summer of 2013 when he moved from Stoke City, and he has proven his worth in the second-tier for the Canaries.

Jerome bagged 16 goals during the Championship campaign under Alex Neil and Alan Irvine, a record that not many can match or pass, as well as eight more assists.

His ratio for rippling the net is one every 180 minutes, so near enough that's a goal every other match.

If the ex-Birmingham City attacker kept that up next season then he'd surely hit 20+ league goals.

Cameron Jerome actually spent two years in the Welsh capital over ten years ago as a teenager before earning a multi-million pound switch to the Blues.

The only out-and-out experienced forward at this level in Cardiff City's ranks is Kenneth Zohore so Neil Warnock could definitely do with the services of this potential signing.
