Cardiff City have had a good season up to this point but they are showing signs of tiredness at the moment.

The men from South Wales have been one of the surprise packages of the season so far with them playing some decent football and certainly capable of giving anyone a game.

In recent matches, though, they have seemingly run out of steam and it remains to be seen exactly how Neil Warnock and his men are going to get themselves going once more.

Perhaps, then, new players are the best bet and the Bluebirds have certainly gone down that route with them bringing in defender Ciaron Brown from Wealdstone - as per Get West London.

The young defender has worked his way up through non league football and, at the age of 20, now finds himself handed a contract with a Championship side.

Whether or not he gets into the side straightaway is really up for debate, of course, with the likes of Bruno Ecuele Manga and Sean Morrison in the team.

But, he's an exciting player and fans will be looking to see how he progresses.

The Verdict

Cardiff are evidently on the look out for fresh ideas and Brown might be able to bring some to the table.

He is young and unproven at this level but has some ability and so maybe this will prove to be a shrewd signing.
