According to BBC Sport, Cardiff City striker Kenneth Zohore could be handed a new contract by the club.

Kenneth Zohore joined on a permanent deal from Belgian outfit KV Kortrijk in the summer and penned a three year deal with the Bluebirds.

But he could be set for an extension just one year later after an impressing season for the Welsh based side.

The Danish forward has 11 goals in 28 appearances for Neil Warnock’s side and he has been the main attacking force in their revival.

The 23-year-old is set to be handed a new deal with Warnock confirming:

“I’ve spoken to him a few times in the last few weeks.”

As well as Kenneth Zohore, Cardiff winger Kadeem Harris might be handed a new deal.

The 23-year-old is out of contract this summer and attracting interest from Ipswich, Barnsley and Fulham.

Warnock is keen to keep the lively winger and is set to offer him an extension.
