Cardiff City forward Lee Tomlin has been making waves in his loan spell with Nottingham Forest, and he was on form yesterday, hitting the goal trail and guiding Forest to a 5-2 win over Queens Park Rangers.

The former Middlesbrough man was allowed to go out on loan by Bluebirds manager Neil Warnock, with a move to Forest ultimately coming off as the January transfer window ground to a halt.

However, some reports have emerged over the last few days that Tomlin has indeed fallen out with Warnock, hence the reason he was allowed to move out on loan in the first place. Tomlin though has taken to Twitter to rubbish these reports, providing an update after the game yesterday.

In a refreshing move, it was clear to see Tomlin keen to get his message across and put to bed any rumours of a fall out with his manager, someone he clearly has a lot of respect for the given the job he is doing for the Welsh club.

Warnock himself has yet to speak on the issue, but it would appear Tomlin's update has indeed ended any sort of reports that there is a problem between the player and former Sheffield United manager Warnock.

Cardiff fans, what do you think to this? Do you believe Tomlin? Let us know in the comments!
